Agents For All is a practical newsletter and learning space for people who want to understand AI agents, prompting and automation without drowning in jargon and complexity.

The goal is not to make complex systems sound simple when they are not.

The goal is to explain them clearly enough that you can make better decisions, ask better questions and use AI with more confidence, clarity and security awareness.

Here, we look at questions such as:

  • When is a prompt enough, and when do you need a workflow or agent?

Why I created Agents For All

I am José Luis Latorre, a technology educator, software architect and AI practitioner focused on agentic systems, knowledge graphs and production-ready enterprise AI.

My work brings together practical engineering, architecture and education. I teach technology professionals through LinkedIn Learning, collaborate with organizations including Neo4j and Microsoft, and share technical explanations through articles, talks and videos.

I also build in this ecosystem through open-source contributions and practical projects, including Microsoft Agent Framework, AgentEval, MAF Doctor and AgentMemory.

So Agents For All is not only about explaining ideas. It is about understanding what happens when those ideas meet real tools, real workflows and real constraints.

I have seen the same pattern again and again:

  • the demo works.;
  • then reality arrives;
  • the agent uses stale context;
  • the tool call fails silently;
  • the memory becomes messy;
  • the answer sounds confident but cannot be traced

Nobody is quite sure what was tested.

Those are the interesting questions.

Not because they are scary, but because they are where useful AI becomes real engineering.
